As another exhilarating week unfurls in Destiny 2, avid Guardians like yourself can prepare for a fresh set of missions, thrilling challenges, and coveted rewards. With the Season of the Witch casting its enchanting spell over the Destiny 2 universe, Bungie has introduced a bewitching addition this week in the form of the Festival of the Lost event. This longstanding tradition puts a Destiny 2 spin on Halloween, allowing players to unlock eerie masks inspired by iconic characters and formidable foes. Moreover, you can amass candy to barter for delightful rewards while tackling revamped versions of Lost Sectors.
In the 2023 edition of this annual event, Bungie has brought back a multitude of elements from last year, but they’ve also bestowed Guardians with a Legendary rendition of Haunted Lost Sectors. This challenging twist promises even more enticing rewards for those who can surmount its trials. Beyond these treasures, players can also acquire new gear, cosmetics, and weapons. The pièce de résistance is the Eerie Engrams, enabling Guardians to focus their loot on specific legendary weapons and exotic armor through the guidance of Eva Levante. Notably, this armor focusing mechanism grants a fresh opportunity to obtain exotic armor pieces from various Destiny 2 expansions, items that were previously concealed behind the veil of RNG as Legendary and Master Lost Sector rewards.
